WRABA Burton Events 2011
At
Burton Century Village Burton, Ohio
Below are listed the events that WRABA will be participating in at Burton Century Village in Burton Ohio. We do blacksmithing demonstrations at each of these events in the working forge area and help with answering questions about the old blacksmith shop. This is a great way to raise the public's awareness of the art and craft of blacksmithing as well as generating interest in our organization and attracting new members. We also hold a raffle of member donated works to raise money for the club and for maintenance of the facilities at Burton. There is an opportunity for members to display their work and sell items on a limited basis.
Please volunteer to help
We are always in need of volunteers to work in the booth, sell raffle tickets, and do demos. If you can commit to a time and date please contact Bob Temple and let him know, or you can just show up and join in at any time. If you can't attend please consider donating items for the raffle as we are always in need of new items. Some examples of popular items are, candle holders, fire pokers, hook sets, letter openers etc.
