We are based at Burton's Century Village, home of the Geauga County Historical Society where we maintain both the historical forge, as well as a more modern working forge. The club demonstrates their work at most events hosted at Century Village and helps maintain the hardware of the village.
If you have an interest in learning the art of blacksmithing, plan to attend a weekly Open Forge night.
Monthly Hammer In meetings feature a demonstration and a potluck lunch.

Lisa Geertsen will be the featured demonstrator at WRABA Conference June 24-26. Details will be added as plans are finalized.
President Gary Barnhart was presented with the Blacksmith of the Year award at our Christmas party.
We want to encourage members to bring items for the iron-in-the-hat raffle at monthly Hammer-In meetings. Some ideas are: scrap metal, books, tools, any item related to blacksmithing. Some of our most popular items have been chocolate, plants (every blacksmith needs an aloe plant), and handmade jewelry.
