We are based at Burton's Century Village, home of the Geauga County Historical Society where we maintain both the historical forge, as well as a more modern working forge. The club demonstrates their work at most events hosted at Century Village and helps maintain the hardware of the village.
If you have an interest in learning the art of blacksmithing, plan to attend a weekly Open Forge night.
Monthly Hammer In meetings feature a demonstration and a potluck lunch.

Our deepest condolences go out to Linda Woodward and her family. Bruce passed away on August 3rd. His tremendous talent and willingness to teach others will live on in our hearts, and he will be greatly missed. You can view his obituary here.
Iron In The Hat Items Needed:
We want to encourage members to bring items for the iron-in-the-hat raffle at monthly Hammer-In meetings. Some ideas are: scrap metal, books, tools, any item related to blacksmithing. Some of our most popular items have been chocolate, plants (every blacksmith needs an aloe plant), and handmade jewelry.
New Member Form:
A new membership form has been developed. All members are requested to fill out a form, even if renewing, so your information can be updated. You can download a form here, and submit it via email, snail mail, or bring it to a meeting.
Volunteers needed: Our newsletter editor will only be able to serve through 2014. If you know of someone willing and able, let one of the officers or board members know. See the Officers page under About Us for contact information.
Coal is now available:
50# bags of coal are now available for $15. Sales are for members only. Purchases may be made Tuesday evenings during open forge, or at any of the Century Village demos.
