We are based at Burton's Century Village, home of the Geauga County Historical Society where we maintain both the historical forge, as well as a more modern working forge. The club demonstrates their work at most events hosted at Century Village and helps maintain the hardware of the village.
If you have an interest in learning the art of blacksmithing, plan to attend a weekly Open Forge night.
Monthly Hammer In meetings feature a demonstration and a potluck lunch.

The attendees who braved the rain enjoyed a fabulous conference with Jeff Farmer. Thanks to Jeff for a great weekend filled with learning and laughter.
We are in need of anvils in the 100-150 pound range. We will need these for the new expansion to the new shop. If you have one you can donate or sell at an agreeable price, please contact Gary Barnhart.

Iron In The Hat Items Needed:
We want to encourage members to bring items for the iron-in-the-hat raffle at monthly Hammer-In meetings. Some ideas are: scrap metal, books, tools, any item related to blacksmithing. Some of our most popular items have been chocolate, plants (every blacksmith needs an aloe plant), and handmade jewelry.
New Member Form:
A new membership form has been developed. All members are requested to fill out a form, even if renewing, so your information can be updated. You can download a form here, and submit it via email, snail mail, or bring it to a meeting.
Coal is now available:
50# bags of coal are now available for $15. Sales are for members only. Purchases may be made Tuesday evenings during open forge, or at any of the Century Village demos.
